About the author

Hello and welcome to my blog, where I hope you will find some inspiration that speaks to you.

I’m originally from Atlantic Canada but have spent the past few years living and working in Scotland and am now transitioning back into full time ministry in England (God and work visa pending of course!). My husband and I are very excited for the opportunity to live the Gospel in a new place with wonderful people.

My life has been an interesting one, rich with deep joys and deep sorrows, each one weaving a thread in the tapestry of my life. The pattern it weaves is one of faith, concern for justice and people. I love to study the Bible and make connections with current situations. I also love writing prayers and liturgy, art and theology and also crafting meditations and prayers that are issue specific. I also enjoy traveling and photography.

Some of my experience in Scotland allowed me to further develop workshops and programs, that others have found to be enriching and challenging. If you are interested in any of the workshops that I can offer found on the workshops page, please contact me at safelyashore@gmail.com

Thank you for visiting this site.
